This function includes 3 different algorithms to activate the K1 remote control switch that governs the auxiliary heater (only in the units equipped with supporting resistor) and the supporting boiler contact both for the production of domestic hot water and for heating, which operate independently of one another:
- if the level of the water detected by the inlet regulation probe falls, and stays below a certain value, equal to double the value of hysteresis set, for more than 20 minutes*, the controller activates the K1 remote control switch to integrate or switch away* from the heat pump.
- if the setpoint is set at above 50°C* the heat pump is switched off and the K1 remote control switch is activated. When this function is activated, the heat pump and the auxiliary heater will never be operating at the same time.
- if the outdoor temperature, as measured by the t4 sensor falls below -15°C* the controller activates the K1 remote control switch to integrate or switch away* from the heat pump.
*This setting can be modified by the C.A.T. In the units with supporting resistor it is possible to connect the three levels (2, 4 or 6kW) as needed and according to the available electric power.
