"2.0 NR" of INNOVA, developed as part of the LIFE ZEROGWP project, is the first packaged air conditioner for residential applications using R290 gas - propane - with a declared GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 3 (compared to R32 gas with a GWP of 675 and R410 gas with a GWP of 2088).

"2.0 NR" of INNOVA packaged air conditioner is part of the "Pathway to Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions for Cooling", a report that will include a global list of HVAC/R products that use natural refrigerants to achieve zero greenhouse gas emissions. This project is a collaboration between the Kigali Cooling Efficiency Program (K-CEP), the Cool Coalition and the Carbon Trust that supports the work of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
